The global energy transition is fundamentally a capital reallocation story—trillions of dollars are moving from fossil-based assets into renewable infrastructure. For finance professionals, renewable energy is no longer a niche sector; it is a core infrastructure asset class with unique cash-flow profiles, contract structures, risk dynamics, and valuation frameworks.

This Renewable Energy Finance and Investment Fundamentals programme by LPC is designed to equip finance leaders with a practical, investment-grade understanding of renewable energy. It bridges the gap between megawatts and money—showing how projects are structured, financed, de-risked, valued, and scaled. Participants will learn how Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) shape bankability, how project finance differs from corporate finance, how risk is allocated across stakeholders, and how investors evaluate returns in solar, wind, storage, and hybrid assets.
The focus is not on engineering depth, but on financial logic: cash flows, capital structure, contracts, valuation, and portfolio strategy. By the end of the programme, participants will be able to assess renewable projects with the same rigour applied to infrastructure, real estate, or private equity investments.
