Efficient project planning is very important for a project as many times late delivery causes a lot of problem to project managers worldwide.   • Understanding of the economic impacts and interest rates impact on a project due to delay
  • Understanding the concept of “Work Break-down Structures”
  • Training on preparation of “Gantt Charts”- for preparing project schedule
  • Understanding the concept of “Float”
  • Understanding the concept of Precedence diagram method(PDM)
  • Methodology of Building schedule

Day 3:

Scheduling of Network and Critical Way

  • Introduction to activity development
  • Training on network calculations
  • Understanding the concept of “Forward and Backward pass”
  • Introduction to “Lead and Lag” scheduling
  • Understanding the importance of (Project Evaluation and Review technique) (PERT)

Day 4:

Methodology of Advanced Planning Techniques and Project Control

  • Training on preparation of LSM (Line of balance schedule)
  • Understanding the system of project control
  • Understanding the analysis of earned value
  • Understanding the concept of earned value reporting
  • Methodology of the “Resource Allocation Algorithm” – for prioritising resources
  • Methodology for “Time and Cost trade-off”

Day 5:

Schedule and Reporting of Project Progress

  • Tracking and monitoring of the progress of a project
  • Methods for acceleration of a project schedule
  • “How does the project schedule fail or Crash?” – understanding and prevention methods
  • Understanding the concept of “Lean Project Management” – a systematic method for elimination of waste
  • Review of the course and “Question and Answer session”
