Course Description:
- Every structure build has got a service life, and the service life is dependent on the construction practice, quality of workmanship and various other factors including materials etc.
- A building or any structures will show signs of deterioration in early stages, and it is very expensive to repair any structure without knowledge of the type of damage caused.
- Thus, any repair/rehabilitation works can be carried out if the nature of damage is known and there are many simple methods of predicting damage and detecting damage.
- Even Visual Examination or “Naked Eye”, you can detect a damage, BUT you will need to take proper training for this.
Objectives:
- The purpose of this course is to provide training with basic and practical methods on concrete repair technology, repair materials, and predict damage.
- Durability of concrete is an important factor, which affect the concrete strength and further leads to damage of the structure, thus proper understanding of the durability factors is a must to prevent damage.
- Repair and rehabilitation adds a huge amount to a cost of a structure, so proper guidance and training is required to use the methods effectively and bring down the cost of the project.
- The purpose of this course is to prepare a trainee to make a decision, whether repair is required or not.
Who should take this course?
- Contractors/ Construction Companies/Engineers/Anybody can take this course and learn how to prevent damage to a structure and how to repair your structure.
- You do not need to be an engineer to take this course, there are no mathematical equations in this course to study.
- If you are, a client and you have given a work to a contractor, and need to know if the contractor is following the proper methods to prevent damage to your structure.
Why you should take this course?
- Repairing and rehabilitation is a booming industry, so if you are having plans to change your career, then join this Course to be a part of an Upcoming Advanced Industry in Construction.
