This course will start with your employees considering themselves as individuals – the ‘I’.

 

Consideration is then directed towards the ‘We’, where they will think about the skills necessary to develop effective relationships with another person. It then concludes by considering the ‘They’, and what coaching can look like within an organizational system.

Introduction to Coaching: Definitions, Context and Applications

 

This session will explore what coaching is and what it isn’t, while considering the similarities and differences between helping roles within organisations. It will also cover some of the things which get in the way of having good coaching conversations.

 

By the end of this live session, your employees should be able to:

  • Define coaching and explain similarities and differences with other helping roles
  • Identify strategies to support better coaching conversations
